Prior to founding Starvine Capital, Steven Ko worked as an investment analyst for Burgundy Asset Management, where for over two years he focused on research and analysis of Asian Pacific companies. Before joining Burgundy, Steven spent three years as an analyst with UBS Global Asset Management, where he analyzed Canadian small capitalization companies (<$2 billion) across all industries. Prior to that, he was a research associate with the Equity Research Divisions of Canaccord Capital and Blackmont Capital, where he specialized in precious metals companies. He also served as an analyst at Blackmont Capital in the Corporate Finance Division. Steven’s first position post undergraduate studies involved his role as a residential mortgage underwriter at First National Financial LP.
